Hard surfaces, improper footwear, old age and gravity are the major factors that lead to structural malfunction of the musculoskeletal system.

When foot posture is incorrect the entire body structure is incorrect.

Weak or misaligned bones and arches can lead to painful conditions throughout the body including knee, hip, back, neck and shoulder distress.

Most foot supports are made to fit the unbalanced or troubled foot. We do not do this. We say “Why make something which matches the unbalanced foot?” Step Forward’s orthotics are both supportive and flexible and are moulded in the shape of a normal foot. So, the intention is, that your foot will aim towards taking the shape of our insoles. You may find them a bit uncomfortable at first, but after the initial short break-in/wear-in period they become more comfortable as your foot conforms to the shape of the orthotic.

The break-in period is staged and can take from 3 days to 3 weeks or more depending on how your feet are presenting.

If worn properly the muscles and ligaments are helped to realign, thus eliminating fatigue and related discomfort. We all know how a foot will change its shape by wearing improper footwear; so, it follows that the foot can be trained into a new shape and our orthotics are designed to provide the correct shape to help align the foot.

Our Orthotics support all three arches of the feet, and as a result the feet, knees, hip and back are aligned better!
